Shay Johnson and Bambi exchanged heated words on social media on Tuesday (October 11) after a new episode of Love & Hip Hop ATL aired.
During the episode, Bambi is seen talking to Sierra Gates about the strained relationship with her mother-in-law Momma Dee. She tells Sierra that Lil Scrappy wants her to make peace with his mother.
However, after years of insults and disagreements, Bambi isn’t jumping at the proposal. Instead, Bambi mentions that Momma Dee’s foul behavior includes publicly supporting Scrappy’s former flames.
“But [Momma Dee’s] never going to stop. Even right now, you see her posting b****es [Lil Scrappy] use to f**k with,” Bambi told Sierra. In a confessional video, Bambi added “Momma Dee just posted a video of Scrap’s old side chick Shay, congratulating this lady on her baby and she’s talking ’bout she’s going to be the god-grandmother or some sh*t. And now, you got people on the internet assuming that the baby is gonna be Scrap’s.”

Shay Claps Back At Bambi, Says She’s NEVER Been A Side Chick
Well, it’s obvious Shay caught the reality show’s latest episode! She took to Instagram with a throwback clip and a clarification of her former association with Scrappy and current relationship with his mama. The clip shows Erica Dixon, the mother of Scrappy’s eldest daughter, confronting Bambi for sleeping with him during their engagement.
“I wouldn’t have anything to say if the petty sh*t about me wasn’t aired LAST NIGHT on national television. I mind my business and stay out of family sh*t that’s not my place,” Shay wrote in the caption. “I’ve made this clear to @tharealmommadee as well but to go on tv to call me a side chick was petty so just to be clear Lol I was NEVER a side chick for no man.”
Bambi Accuses Shay Of Using Scrappy For A Storyline; Shay Calls Her A “Groupie Turned Wife”
Not long after Shay posted her clap back, Bambi got things popping in the comment section. She blasted Shay with accusations of using her husband as a storyline for the show.
“You were quick to defend yourself for being a “side chick,” but crickets when y’all were insinuating my husband was your baby daddy for ya storyline,” Bambi wrote. “Honestly. all this is cap–including this clip. We both know that engagement ended right after that reunion. If you gonna use Erica for a fact bible post the clip where she called you the family pet, is that one fact also?”
Once again, Shay caught Bambi’s shade and launched it right back with a comment section clapback. Shay tagged Bambi, saying Bam allowed the public’s comments to piss her off, even though she never explicitly said Scrappy was her child’s father.
The reality star added that the identity of her daughter’s father is nobody’s business but that she will choose when and how to reveal him to the world.
“As far as a storyline, you were talking about me last night I never mentioned you at all on the show. So please stop with the bullsh*t,” Shay wrote. “Last but not least we both know the engagement ended because he was f**king you and Erica can clear that up. Family pet, girl stop #GroupieTurnWife.”
She added that Bambi can’t get mad at her given that she “started the sh*t talking.”
Meanwhile, Scrappy seemingly chose to stay out of the social media exchanging, instead opting to post adorable videos of his children with Bambi and clips of his new music to his Instagram.
