Whew! Rihanna had everybody watching her arrival in Paris this week, but it looks like one fashion insider had a few thoughts about how long it took for the show to actually get startedand EJ Johnson wasnt exactly keeping those thoughts to himself.
This week, the style personality took to livestream to discuss the Dior runway show, and while EJ made it clear he thought the presentation itself was beautiful, he also pointed out one detail that had him less than impressed: the reported wait for Rihanna to arrive.
“The show itself was beautiful. It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late, and you know, like, we didnt care to wait for her,”EJ said during the livestream. “But the show was beautiful nonetheless.”
And the timing has the internet talking even louder because, shortly after the fashion-show moment, EJ reportedly found himself dealing with a situation of his own outside his hotel. After posing for the paparazzi, a video circulated of EJ being stopped from entering the hotel, and Rihanna later popped into the comments with a simple “damn.”
Now, social media is doing what social media does and connecting the dots, with some wondering whether Rihannas comment was simply a reaction to EJs hotel mishap or a little something more. For now, neither Rihanna nor EJ has publicly confirmed that theres any beef between them, so the internet may have to leave the detective work in the group chat.
Fans wasted no time heading to TSRs Instagram comment section and picking sides in the conversation. Some felt EJ was simply irritated about having to wait. While others suggested he was bringing back Twitter Rihanna with his comments. And, of course, plenty of folks had just one question: Whos we?
One Instagram user @hangupthendialyouroperator said, “Hes playing with the original Miss Petty, Damn alone ended Mr. Miss EJ”
This Instagram user @nubiyanphoenixx joked, “How you eating up all the girls in the room and you cant even get in?? ”
And, Instagram user @starboysagg wrote, “you didn’t have to care to wait for her, YOU had to wait for her cus it didn’t start till she arrived ”
Meanwhile, Instagram user @_cocostylezz added, “ Chewed with one word reminds me of her thing with Ciara. Her comebacks bite fr”
While Instagram user @melojenks80 claimed, “But Dior wsnted to wait for Rihanna. No1 is waiting for u. Thats why u were there on time. Probably early! ”
Lastly, Instagram user @rockysayseffya commented, “Whos we?!”
