Sheryl Lee Ralph Claps Back At Concerns Over Her Marriage
TSR caught a video of Sheryl Lee Ralph during a red carpet interview where she spilled the tea on her nearly 20-year marriage to Vincent Hughes. Ralph shared that they will hit the milestone next year. When a reporter asked how they make it work despite living in two cities, Sheryl dropped a quick read, pointing out that Dolly Parton knows the secret since no one ever sees Dolly’s husband.
“My husband I are technically [very] married! People always say, ‘well, how does that work?’ I say Dolly Parton knows how it works. She’s been married for 50 years, you’ve never seen her husband one time, you know why? Cause they plan on staying married,” Ralph explained.
Sheryl went on to say she’s sticking to the plan of “staying married” and keeping it that way for the years ahead. She continued to keep it real, saying people can’t mess with what they don’t know.
“Thank you. Our business is in the bedroom, thank you” Ralph added.
