Mugshot Of Sidney Starr Released Amid Charges Of Alleged Sexual Battery & Molestation Of A Minor Under 16

Sidney Starr is in police custody amid accusations of sexual assault against a minor. Details of the case are still developing, but a new mugshot from the felony arrest is sparking strong reactions on social media. So far, local reports say the TV personality, whose legal name is Sidney Favors, committed battery and molestation of a minor under the age of 16.

What Is Sidney Starr Accused Of Doing?

According to 11Alive, officers from the Hapeville Police Department arrested Sidney Starr on Sunday (August 2) in their jurisdiction. Officers detained the reality TV star at the Embassy Suites located at 3450 International Blvd after responding to a call and investigating the scene. Following the arrest, cops reportedly took Starr to the Fulton County Jail without incident. At this time, per 11Alive, police are withholding additional information because the case involves a minor. The gender of the juvenile victim and who, if anyone, called the police remains unclear. As of Monday (August 3) afternoon, Starr was still in custody.

Mugshot Surfaces Amid Felony Charges

Once at Fulton County Jail, Sidney Starr was booked and processed under the name Sidney Favors. Sidney faces multiple charges including sexual battery against a child under the age of 16, aggravated child molestation and sodomy, per court recorded cited by 11Alive. The Hapeville PD has reportedly referred the case to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. It’s unknown whether Starr could be facing additional charges.

Sidney Starr’s mugshot appears to show them with minimal makeup aside from what looks like tinted eyebrows. Starr’s eyes appeared low with bags underneath. Their hair was braided into straight-back cornrows and they seemed to be wearing a dark-colored jail uniform at the time of the mugshot photo.
