Ever since Gucci Mane has been home he’s been hard at work, and now that the rapper is officially off of house arrest things are only getting better.
It was announced on top of all the music that Gucci has been dropping, he is also expected to drop a book as well.
Recently Simon & Schuster, a major publishing company, confirmed the book deal and said it will be a memoir on the rappers life. So far the book still remains untitled and has yet to get a release date.
In a statement to The Fader, a rep said, “Simon & Schuster is thrilled to publish Gucci’s story in his own words. Gucci Mane is one of the most influential and revered hip-hop artists in the world. His impact on American music is profound.”
The rep continued, “This will be a major memoir revealing the life and times of the artist and man, chronicling his youth, ascent to the top of the Atlanta trap scene, incarceration, struggles with addiction and personal rebirth.”
With everything that has been going on involving Gucci Mane throughout the past few years, this book definitely seems to be right on time.
Roommates what are your thoughts?
