Six Of DMX’s Most Inspirational Moments That Touched Us All (Video)

As we previously reported, DMX, unfortunately, passed away on Friday at White Plains Hospital, days after suffering a heart attack. Once the news hit social media, people begin to honor his life by going down memory lane and highlighting some of his best moments that showed the rapper giving a good word and a loving prayer.

Last summer, DMX went live on IG and held bible study and read from the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. The chapter says that there’s a time for everything. DMX, in part stated, “a time for crying and a time for laughing, a time for mourning and a time for dancing, a time for throwing stones and a time for embracing and a time for avoiding embraces,” the rapper said. “Ooooh! A time for embracing and a time for avoiding embraces. What?”

On an episode of “Drink Champs,” he sat down and gave a word about trusting people to be who they are. In part, he stated,”Always trust everyone to be themselves, but always trust in the fact that you can see them well.” DMX also went on to say, “It takes too much energy to not trust someone. You know what I mean? You always gotta stay two steps ahead of them or whatever. But trust them to be them.” He added, “Trust them to be them, but know them when you see them.”

As previously reported, DMX’s family confirmed the news of his passing to XXL. In part, the statement read, “Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live forever.”

In closing, “We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle, and the man the word knew as DMX. We will share information about his memorial service once details are finalized.”

Please continue to keep his family in your prayers.
