Snoop Dogg recently opened up about a new business his wife, Shante Broadus, purchased! The couple, married since 97 with three kids, has seen it all, but Shantes latest venture got Snoop shook in a good way. She bought an adult entertainment club, and, despite his initial shock, the West Coast lyricist is throwing his full support behind her. Find out why below
On the latest episode of the ‘Its Giving‘ podcast, released on Wednesday, August 20, Snoop Dogg spilled all the tea about Shantes bold venture into the adult entertainment world. Apparently, Shante scooped up the club about two years ago, and Snoop was gagged when he found out! It shocked me that she bought the muthaf*****, he laughed. I was like, A strip club? Oh wow, honey, Ill support it!
Turns out, this aint just a random flex for Shante. Snoop revealed his queen has a history of throwing exotic parties, even for him, so this move was right up her alley. Its her world, he said, noting that Shantes been hosting male exotic nights at the venue, and hes not fazed one bit.
So what do I do? I say, What the hell is you doing?! … I support, Snoop shared.
I show up. I throw money in the air. You understand what Im saying? I support you! Because she supported me when I was going through something that I wanted to get off, that I felt like was fun and was fly.
Snoops all about reciprocity, yall! Shantes been his ride-or-die through thick and thin, so when she wanted to step into her boss era, he wasnt about to hold her back. The rap legend says the club is Shantes passion, and hes just happy to see her shining.
Snoops been making it clear that Shantes his rock. During his emotional acceptance speech for the Ultimate Icon Award at the 2025 BET Awards back in June, he gave his wife of nearly three decades a heartfelt shout-out. But more importantly, he let the world know that he’s the man he has become today because of his wife, who has always held him up, no matter what.
“No matter what, she held me down, she holds me down, she’s always been there for me. She’s always been my everything. That’s why she’s on stage tonight. That’s why she’s in my life, Snoop shared, per PEOPLE.
The crowd was eating it up, and social media was buzzing with fans praising their unbreakable bond. Shante was up on the stage, glowing, and you could tell she felt every word. Thats love.
Now, Snoops no stranger to controversy. In a May interview on The Breakfast Club, he addressed the shade and heavy backlash he got for performing at the Crypto Ball during Trumps inauguration weekend in January. But according to Snoop, he wasnt going to miss out on getting a bag for a 30-minute performance DJing on stage, regardless of how people were going to feel about it.
I call it 30 for 30, he told the radio show. “And Gs dont explain s**t. So, thats why I didnt explain and go into details when m****r f*****s tried to cancel me and say, He a sellout.”
Snoop made sure to let it be known he doesn’t endorse the Democratic or Republican party. Instead, he’s throwing his support behind the “gangster party” and living life on his terms.
