On Sunday, July 6, the latest convention for Potter’s House congregants was published in a three-hour-long clip shared via YouTube. During the service, Sarah and Touré were installed as senior pastors at Potter’s House. Furthermore, their official installation occurred about three hours into the service.

More Details On Sarah Jakes Roberts & Her Husband Touré Being Appointed As Senior Pastors At Potter’s House
As The Shade Room previously reported, in April, Bishop T.D. Jakes shocked social media. At the time, he shared that he was stepping down as Potter House’s senior pastor and giving the title to his daughter and her husband.
“As I enter my 50th year in the public spotlight, I recognize the urgent need to address more challenges of our time, particularly the looming threat of a disappearing middle class, social unrest, and closing opportunity gaps. This pivotal moment calls me to focus on a legacy of economic empowerment, serving as a bridge between community, culture, and corporate alliances to help position our nation for a stronger future,” he reportedly stated in part at the time.
Furthermore, at the time, it was reported that the Bishop would remain chairman of the church’s board and its spiritual overseer. Ultimately, later that month, Sarah broke her silence in response to her father’s decision.
