According to Fox News, the meeting went down on the evening of Tuesday, January 14. At the gathering, Democratic and Republican lawmakers reportedly were discussing women’s rights, trans rights, and civil rights.
A clip that has now gone viral on social media shows Rep. Crockett saying, “Somebody’s campaign coffers are struggling right now. So she gon’ keep sayin’ ‘trans, trans trans’ so that people will feel threatened and chile, listen.'”

In turn, Rep. Mace appeared to take offense to Crockett’s words.
“I’m no child! Do not call me a child! I’m no child. Don’t even start,” she said, interrupting Crockett, who was still speaking. “I’m a grown woman. I’m 47 years old. I’ve broken more glass ceilings than you ever have… You will not do that. I’m not a child… If you wanna take it outside, we can do that.”
As the clip continued, another committee member could be heard calling the meeting to order.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Rep. Crockett also went viral following a heated debate at a House Oversight Committee meeting in May 2024. At the time, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told Crocket:
“I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”
From there, chaos appeared to erupt in the room before Rep. Crockett shot back.
Subsequently, Jasmine Crockett explained why she didn’t regret goin’ IN on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Additionally, Crockett also reportedly moved to trademark the phrase, “bleach blond bad built butch body.”
