First and foremost let’s give it up for the black designers out here winning in the fashion world. There are many designers whose designs come highly in demand, and one brand is Telfar. Their bags have become such a hot commodity, they’re known for selling out within minutes, and it seems like a never-ending cycle as you continue to make attempts at purchasing a bag.
Last June, Beyoncé launched a directory of black businesses on her website, which Telfar is featured in. When debuting the directory, she also dropped her hit single, “Black Parade.” Yesterday Beyoncé was spotted stepping out in Brooklyn rocking the white Telfar tote bag, as she paired it with a white top and floral pants. Once the paparazzi photos hit social media, it caused a frenzy as some expressed that the process was only going to become harder trying to snag a bag. While others were completely excited to see that they had something in common with Bey…which is they both own a Tel-feezy (Telfar).
However, Telfar made it clear that despite what some people think, the prices for their bags will remain the same. They psoted a simple message to their Instagram account, which read, “Price not changing…not for you–for everyone.”
We still might be waiting on the restock, but nonetheless, the prices will remain.
