Complex Names BabyChiefDoIt As The Best Teen Rapper
According to Complex, the staff based the list on each artist’s overall impact and music quality so far, noting that commercial success wasn’t the main factor since many of these artists are still starting their careers.
At the top is 17-year-old BabyChiefDoIt, followed by 18-year-old Nettspend.
Other viral teen rappers who made the cut include Star Bandz (17), Luh Tyler (19), DD Osama (18), and 310Babii (19), all of whom secured a spot for the second year in a row.
Female rapper Myaap, known for her viral hit “Fairy,” landed at No. 9, marking her first time on the list.
