On Tuesday, January 28, Finesse took to Instagram to share a video with his more than 1 million followers. In the caption of the clip, he wrote:
“So I told shug I’ll probably be on the road for Valentine’s Day. She told me ok , And 2 days this……🥲❤️🩹 It’s takes a strong strong heart to heal a broken soul , and your helping me with that , your part of the reason why I respect woman more today. They call u slow and gullible but I call in being submissive , and that’s we’re u win with me at. Thanks baby , And Yes I will be your valentines❤️🌹👑…”
Furthermore, the video showed him walking into what appeared to be a backyard with a pitched-up tent. The entrance was adorned with a red carpet covered in roses and blown-up red balloons shaped like hearts. Inside, Shugg was seated on a red couch, and individual roses hung from the ceiling with her and Finesse’s photos. Additionally, a balloon ensemble featuring the question, “Will you be my Valentine?” was featured toward the back of the tent.
In addition, Shugg took to her own Instagram to share another video of Finesses’ surprise. In her caption, she wrote:
