Young Thug was one of the rappers that appeared on the latest episode of T.I.s Expeditiously podcast and comments about why he hasnt worked with Andr 3000 in his career just yet, has Twitter showing Andr all of the love at the moment.
Andr is currently top trending, and people are giving him his flowers as they credit him for not only his contribution to the hip-hop game but also his ability to step out of the box and set his own trends.
While speaking with T.I., Young Thug revealed that he has never paid any attention to Andr and said that he couldnt even rap two of his songs. T.I. recommended that his next step should be to link up with Andr to collaborate the same way he did with Elton John.
However, Thugger said, “The difference from Elton John and Andr is Elton John likes to kiss a**. Andr likes his a** kissed.”
He continued to explain that Elton John is more willing to work with other artists who are fans of his, while he doesn’t feel that Andr 3000 puts out the same energy.
Needless to say, fans were not filling Young Thug’s comments and they began to show their appreciation for Andr 3000, causing him to be one of the top trends on Twitter.
One user said, “Andre 3000 saying he’s a fan of Young Thug, only for Thug to shade him is the most 2020 thing thus far.”
Another person added, “It just shocks me that a rapper from ATL with such an eccentric style doesnt acknowledge Andre 3000 as an ally. Young Thug attempted to shame someone elses ego by only revealing his own. Regardless of what Young Thug says, we know how much Andre means to the south.”
Even some fans of Young Thug expressed they didn’t agree with his comments.
