As The Shade Room previously reported, Lil Durk was taken into federal custody on murder-for-hire accusations in October 2025. Since then, Complex reports that Durk has been awaiting trial and has been in solitary confinement for the past four months. This, reportedly due to his possessing an unauthorized Apple Watch. Due to the infraction, Durk has reportedly been barred from the commissary and is only allowed to receive one phone call once a month with no in-person visits.
“[Lil Durk] is confined to a very small jail cell, just large enough for a single bed, a toilet, and a sink. The deleterious effects of extended solitary confinement on an inmate’s psychological well-being are well-documented,” his lawyer, Christy O’ Connor, has reportedly explained.
In October, India Royale pledged her continued support for Durk with a post shared via her Instagram Story.
