Soulja Boy Reacts After Getting Hit With Verdict In Case Against Former Assistant
As The Shade Room previously reported, Soulja Boy has reportedly been ordered to pay $4 million after the jury found him guilty of intentionally causing emotional distress and sexually harassing his ex-assistant. Well, the ‘Crank That’ rapper has now hit up social media to share his thoughts on the decision. He wasted no time telling folks not to believe the chatter or verdict. “If y’all think I touched that b***h, y’all crazy,” Soulja says in the video.
He then went on to say that the case outcome feels like a straight-up attack on rich Black men. He also claimed folks want to take him down because he owns everything.
“If y’all don’t see they trying to attack all of our Black rich n****s. I don’t know what to tell y’all,” he said. “They mad ’cause I own my own s**t. They trying to take a n***a down. Cause I’m the first rapper to do this s**t,” he said.
Soulja also said the same thing that’s happening to him is exactly what happened to big names like Jay-Z and Diddy.
“They did the same s**t with Jay-Z, they did the same with P. Diddy, they did the same s**t with everybody,” he added.

Here’s What Went Down In Soulja’s Case
Even though Soulja has to pay $4 million, the judge did end up cutting him some slack, reportedly tossing out his ex-assistant’s claims of false imprisonment and hostile work environment. Doe first took Soulja to court in January 2021, accusing him of rape and kidnapping while she worked as his personal assistant.
She reportedly began working for him in 2018, according to Variety. In court docs, she said he slid into her DM’s less than a month after she started, and things ended up turning romantic between them. Additionally, she reportedly noted that things got violent quickly.
In court on Thursday, April 10, Soulja Boy denied the accusations against him. He said he never abused his ex-assistant and she wasn’t even on his payroll. Soulja claimed she was staying with him and doing favors here and there, but he never officially hired her. He also said their on-and-off fling was consensual, although things allegedly did get out of hand at times.
