#Roommates, another day, another law suit! This time #SouljaBoy is being sued by a chauffeur named #KamilahDaily claiming she was filmed by Soulja’s team without consent and the footage was used in his music video for “Bling.”
According to @Blast, Daily was hired by Soulja Boy & his team but had no knowledge he was shooting a video in the backseat! During the ride Soulja Boy allegedly videotaped himself and briefly caught her opening the door for him which made it to his actual video.
Daily is suing for substantial distress and mental anguish caused by the video. As well as unspecified damages for the disruption it’s cause Daily’s employment. In a statement she said:”I have driven A-list celebrities and their families and I never had to go through anything like this with them or had problems.”
Soulja Boy attempted to have this particular case dismissed but his motion was denied by the judge. To make things worse, Soulja Boy’s lawyers have asked to be dropped from the case citing communications with him and his team, have caused difficulty in providing adequate legal representation.
The case is still ongoing.
