Sprite taps back into its hip-hop market with its “Obey Your Verse” campaign. .
With 16 limited edition cans, bottles, and multipacks, each one will carry the verses of artists like Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Drake, and Rakim.
Sprite says they chose these artists to highlight because of their “reputation for being true to themselves through their music and advancing the culture;” and will only be available through Summer.
Specifically, there are five Drake lyrics, 5 Nas Lyrics, 5 from Rakim, and one from Biggie –from songs like “0 to 100,” “If I ruled The World,” “One More Chance,” “Paid In Full,” and more.
“When I wrote these lyrics, I never imagined my fans would someday have the opportunity to enjoy a can of Sprite and experience my art in a totally original way,” Nas said, speaking on the new campaign.
