Smith Show,’ for what was supposed to be a sweet father-daughter momentuntil she casually name-dropped a boy hed never heard of. As soon as she mentioned “Jaylin,” Stephen hit the brakes mid-episode, saying, “Whos Jaylin? Who’s Jaylin?!” The way he clenched his fist and made that hurt-but-holding-it-in face? Classic overprotective dad energy on full display!
Samantha, clearly amused, laughed and tried to keep it cute, saying Jaylin is just a friendan Atlanta-based actor whos very successful. But Stephen A. was not trying to hear none of that. Fans in the live chat were hollering at his reaction, and honestly, same’cause every Black dad across the internet felt that spiritual side-eye he gave.
