Sterling Shepard Reportedly Files For Divorce From Chanel Iman After Nearly Four Years Of Marriage

After months of rumors and speculation about the status of Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard’s relationship, it looks like the two have decided to call it quits. According to breaking news, Sterling filed for divorce from the supermodel, but the split has been in the works fro months.

According to an exclusive report from Us Weekly, Sterling officially filed for divorce from Chanel in June 2021 after spending six years together–four of which were as a married couple. A source close to the situation revealed, “They are going to try and remain civil and friendly toward each other.”

Chanel and Sterling had folks all over the internet screaming “couple goals” when Sterling popped the question just two years into their relationship. The two were very candid about their love for one another, but Sterling swooned over Chanel every chance he got.

He previously recalled meeting Chanel at a party in 2016, and the rest was history.

“When I was younger, I’d see her in the Victoria’s Secret magazines that my sisters were getting, but it didn’t really come to me,” he said. “I approached her and asked her if she wanted a drink, and we were just talking for the rest of the party, and then we went to some club for the afterparty and kept talking.

I got her number, and we went out separate ways, but we stayed in contact,” he continued. “It was kind of crazy. And now that’s my lady.”

Chanel and Shepard welcomed their daughter Cali in 2018, and their second daughter Cassie in late 2019.

Details about how the couple plans to move forward with their divorce proceedings aren’t immediately available, but we’ll keep you updated!
