According to the folks over at TMZ Stevie J might be headed to prison for two years!
Remember when news broke that Stevie J owed 1 Million dollars in child support? Well, not paying your child support can get you locked up if you didn’t know. It didn’t help that Stevie J and Joseline were showing off on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Remember when Stevie threw money on Nikko? Well, his Baby’s Muva was sitting in the cut waiting to collect on the money he owed.
Stevie was ordered to pay $8,500 per month in child support for his two kids since 2001. According to the record, he’s been ducking and dodging those payments until they turned into a whopping $1,107, 412.
Stevie was indicted and his arraignment is scheduled for February 10, 2015. Stevie just checked into rehab about a week ago.
Well, one of our connects that knows Stevie revealed to us the first time this need broke that he was involved in his children’s life. According to them, Stevie has given her money (nowhere close to $8,500 a month) here and there to take care of the kids. Our source says that he provided her the money in cash and it’s virtually impossible to prove how much he has given her.
We don’t know, either way he wasn’t paying the amount he was ordered to pay. Taking care of children is a 24 hour thing…so what exactly does “here and there” mean?
