On Wednesday Suge Knight ended up back in a Los Angeles hospital as he reportedly battles life-threatening blood clots.
According to the New York Daily News, Knight’s finacée, Toi-Lin Kelly confirmed that Knight received treatment at the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.
Knight is still in custody as he continues to fight a murder charge.
Kelly claims that Knight has been in and out of the hospital during his two years behind bars because jail officials allegedly “pressure,” the staff at the hospital to “return him to jail with only Band-Aid fixes.”
Jail officials have denied ever mistreating Knight.
Kelly said to the Daily News, “I am worried because Suge is supposed to receive the proper medical care everyone in custody is entitled to. Doctors have said Suge’s blood clots are life threatening.”
She went on to say that doctors want Knight to receive Daily blood thinners, but she is concerned that he is not getting them “regularly or on time.”
“I can tell you we are well documenting the actions of the jail and USC Medical so we can stay on top of this,” said Kelly.
Suge Knight is currently serving time for a 2015 fatal hit and run that he committed, where he claims to have been the victim of an armed ambush.
