On Sunday, Suge Knight’s mother, unfortunately, passed away at the age of 77.
Word started to circulate that Suge Knight was hoping that he would be able to leave jail to attend his mother’s funeral service. However, it looks like he won’t be able to attend the service.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department revealed that Suge wouldn’t be able to attend because he’s an inmate that is ineligible to attend funerals. He’s a homicide suspect, so he has to remain in jail as he awaits his trial for murder.
His mother Maxine Chatman suffered a stroke almost a month ago, and since her health started to decline.
