Sukihana is opening up about the viral video where YK Osiris was seen attempting to kiss her and her initial reaction. As The Shade Room previously reported, the incident occurred in June at The Crew League event in Atlanta.

Sukihana Opens Up About The Viral Incident Being Her First Time Meeting YK Osiris
Sukihana appeared as a recent guest on ‘The Armon Wiggin Show’ and shared how the viral incident came about. She explained that the two were on set, “filming for a basketball game,” when Osiris approached her.
Sukihana continued by explaining that he “came over to say hi,” which prompted a conversation between them. As their interaction continued, she explained that he began massaging her shoulders — a moment which was also captured on the viral video.
Additionally, she seemed to explain that the interaction began to make her feel uneasy.
“It was cute, but, you know, I was okay…”
Sukihana then explained to Wiggins that this was the “first time” she met YK Osiris.
“This was the first time I met him in person. But everybody knows him…”
Despite her uneasiness with Osiris’s massage, Sukihana explained that she felt the “vibes were alright” because she perceived Osiris as a “respectful young man.”
The Artist Explains Her Initial Reaction To YK Osiris’ Actions
From this point, a viral video shows YK Osiris leaning in to kiss Sukihana, even turning her head toward his as she leans back in her chair. Osiris then repeats the action as she turns to the crowd with her jaw dropped.
During her interview, Sukihana explained her astonished reaction.
“We’re filming, and this is a big opportunity for me…”
She continued by explaining that she didn’t “want to look problematic in this male-dominated industry.”
“So I’m just… keeping a smile on my face. He just reached in for a kiss, and it’s like he don’t really know who I am, he don’t really know how I do… So I just feel like maybe he didn’t read the room as good…”
The rapper then continued by explaining that the interaction “was a little bit uncomfortable,” but it was a “playful setting,” and she didn’t want to embarrass YK Osiris or herself. So ultimately, she decided to keep her reaction “professional.”
Despite this, however, Sukihana revealed that she ultimately left the set and didn’t continue filming for the event. Instead, she admitted, she cried in her dressing room.
“It’s because I didn’t say that I wanted him to do that… I felt like I was a little bit embarrassed… I just know that I felt uncomfortable.”
Lastly, Sukihana added that YK Osiris apologized after the event and shared her reaction once the incident went viral.
