Whew! The body police are back at it again, and Summer Walker is not here for it. While some folks clearly had too much time on their hands this weekend, Summer was busy minding her perfectly sculpted businessuntil the unsolicited opinions started rolling in.
On Sunday (August 3), the ‘Girls Need Love’ songstress took to her Instagram Story with a message loud and clear: keep your unsolicited opinions about her body to yourselfnatural or enhanced. She let it be known that shes standing firm in her choices and isnt here to make anyone comfortable. PERIOD. Though its unclear what exactly prompted her statement, photos of her performing at Breezy Bowl’s Miami stop, may have sparked unfiltered reactions from fans. In the post, Summer showed out in a photo taken from the back, rocking a silver leotard and matching knee-high boots that highlighted every curve with confidence. And, with energy to match the fit, Summer Walker had a few words for the body-shamers.
I LOVE my body with a fiery, burning passion. Please get over it. Im not changing or reducing anything. I dont know why it would bother you if were not intimate and you dont even know me in real life. But, please block me if it offends you, or keep scrolling. I dont invest time and energy into people I dont like, why should you?”
The timeline is definitely split in The Shade Room comment section over Summer Walkers recent clapback. Some folks are ridin for her, reminding everyone that its her body and she doesnt owe anybody an explanation. Meanwhile, others claim theyre just looking out, saying they dont want her walking around looking crazyand a few are here for the clapback itself, saying she had every right to check the haters and keep it pushin.

Back in April, Summer Walker hit her Instagram Story to give her 6.5 million followers a full look at her body-ody. Filming from what looked like a public bathroom, the singer rocked a grey sports bra, dark gray leggings, and lavender headphones, keeping it casual yet eye-catching. At one point in the clip, she removed her waist trainer and peeled off a layer of plastic wrap around her midsectionclearly unbothered and keeping it all the way real.
