As many of you know, recently T.I. has been facing backlash after he made comments about visiting the gynecologist with his daughter Deyjah to check her hymen.
After he made those comments, people have expressed their opinions about his decision, however, he hasn’t spoken about the matter since. Now, it looks like the situation will be addressed on an upcoming episode of “Red Table Talk,” with Jada Pinkett Smith.
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Jada on Monday as she walked the carpet for the screening of the drama “Hala” during the AFI Fest in Hollywood, and she revealed that T.I. is the next guest to visit the red table. She said, “My next big guest is Tip. T.I. is coming to the table. Yes indeed, and of course, he’s going to address the controversy that has been swirling.”
Jada revealed the episode is coming next Monday and said, “We just shot that [episode of Red Table Talk] today. And then he and [his wife] Tiny sit down and talk about how they survived, in regards to their marriage. So that will be next Monday.”
As we previously reported, earlier this month, T.I. was a guest on the “Lady’s Like Us” podcast with Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham. In the episode he said, “So I say look Doc, she don’t ride no horses, she don’t ride no bike, she don’t play no sports man. Just check the hymen please and give me my results expeditiously! But I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact.”
The uproar that followed the release of the episode caused the ladies to apologize to their listeners and also delete the episode.
