Roomies, y’all already know Taina Williams doesn’t play about her babies! She went into full mommy mode after folks online called her daughter Emmy Wright’s dance moves during a TikTok challenge inappropriate. Taina didn’t let the criticism slide. She immediately clapped back and straight-up called folks who stay clocking other people’s children weird for coming at Emmy.
Okay, so BOOM! Taina Williams’ bestie Amaya Colon recently hopped on TiKTok and dropped a fun challenge video with Emmy Wright. In the clip, Amaya and Emmy take turns freezing in place while the other dances to Rihanna’s ‘Pour It Up.’ The duo jumped on the challenge after Taina’s other bestie, Asia Carter and her son Essex Wright did their own version, letting the internet decide which pair did it better. But chile, things took a turn when Emmy hit a full split during Amaya’s video. Some folks thought the timing of the move and Emmy doing the split altogether was outta pocket. Taina seemingly peeped the reactions and wasted NO time steeping in to defend her baby.
After Taina peeped some of the reactions to Amaya and Emmy’s video, she hopped online and clapped back at the trolls coming for her daughter. Taina questioned when it became inappropriate for kids to do splits and made it clear she didn’t see the issue.“Since when did doing a split become inappropriate?”
From here, she called the people criticizing Emmy’s skills weird and pointed out that gymnasts and cheerleaders do splits all the time. So as far as she’s concerned, she doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about.
“So, when a gymnast does it, its in appropriate?” She continued, “So, when they do a 100 flips and go into a split its inappropriate? […] When a cheerleader does it at school its inappropriate? Like, when did y’all become such perverts? Y’all are weird?”
After The Shade Room Teens dropped Taina’s response, plenty of TeaMates sided with her in the comment section and made it clear that folks need to stop hopping online and trying to parent other people’s children.
