Last night everyone tuned in to watch the #AMAs and see some of their faves perform and receive awards. One of the winners of last nights awards was none other than the #Migos and when #Quavo and #Offset got onstage to receive their award, many people started asking, wheres #Takeoff?
Now usually its not a big deal that the entire group isnt together, but fans quickly took to twitter and started speculating on #Takeoffs absence. Especially since he also was not in attendance at the #MTVAwards alongside his two other group members. But looks like we can kill all the speculation, and the reason for #Takeoffs absence is because hes actually working on his first solo album.
Cording to @Blast, in an Instagram post under one of #Offsets pictures, Offsets mom, Ms. Latabia Woodward answered a fan who asked about Takeoffs whereabouts. The fan said: So its just 2 now? Quavo solo? #Migos congratulations guys! To which Offsets mom said: Its still 3 of them. Take is working on his solo album which releases soon after Quavos. Each of them is releasing solo projects.
The trio took home the AMA award for Favorite Duo/Group in the Pop/Rock category. During their speech both Quavo and Offset shouted out Takeoff during their acceptance speech but I guess that wasnt enough for fans to do what they do! But now we know #Roommates, theres no bad blood between the bandmates. Takeoffs just working hard on his solo project. Are yall here for what hes cooking up?!
