By now we all know that children have curious minds, and they love to ask multiple questions as they continue to learn and grow. Recently, Tamera Mowry shared a video where she explained to her daughter Ariah what a weave is, as she answered a few of her questions.
In the cute video shared to Tamera’s Instagram story, Ariah is seen sitting on Tamera’s lap and asking her if she is wearing a wig.
Tamera starts to laugh as she repeatedly asks Ariah if she likes her hair. Upon further investigation, Ariah started to realize that her mother was not wearing a wig and asked, “This is not a wig?” Tamera then told her, “No it’s not a wig.”

While further examining her mother’s hair, Ariah said that she loved Tamera’s hair, and then asked if she dyed her hair after noticing that her hair was both black and brown.
That is when Tamera revealed that she was wearing a weave. Ariah proceeded to ask what a weave was, and that’s when Tamera explained that it was hair sewn into her real hair. She then continued to explain to Ariah how the hair could be taken out as she looked on in amazement.
Ariah is one of the two children that Tamera shares with her husband Adam Housley. They welcomed their son Aden in 2012 and then they welcomed Ariah in 2015.
Last summer, Tamera announced her departure from the hit daytime talk show “The Real,” after seven years and placed more of her talent back into her acting career.
