On Wednesday, Tamera Mowry-Housley revealed that she was the Seashell on ‘The Masked Singer.’ Y’all know she had them pipes ever since she was on ‘Sister Sister.’ As the anticipation grew and Tamera Mowry-Housley’s face was revealed, everyone was so shocked and surprised.
Once the episode aired, Tamera Mowry-Housley took to Instagram and spoke about her journey on the hit show. Tamera Mowry-Housley stated, “Welp! It’s time to reveal! Dang, that was hard holding that in!!! Yes, I am the Seashell on @maskedsingerfox. Gotta say singing and dancing with that shell on my head was quite the challenge🤣🤣🤣 But I loved every minute of it! To live out this dream — Wow!!!

Tamera Mowry-Housley continued, “What an amazing experience, and I must say one that I will never forget. To face fear in the face and get to the other side is something we should all experience. It produces growth🙏🏽”
Tamera Mowry-Housley ended her message by thanking the producers and her family members. She also stated, “I’ve learned not to hide that part of me any longer. Thanks for all the love guys. Seashell out ✌🏽#maskedsinger”
Tamera Mowry-Housley revealed to PEOPLE that no one in her family knew that she was on the show. “The moment I performed the first time, my phone was blowing up from my family. My brother, Tahj, and my sister, Tia, were texting back and forth. And they said, ‘We know this is you, Tamera. That shoulder and knee pop, it gives it away.’”
Tamera ended up being eliminated on last night’s episode. But at least she had a good time on ‘The Masked Singer.’
She stated, “He tried years ago…Me and Nicki Chu were in the club. I’ve met him before. I hung out with Kim as well…and girl code. I couldn’t do it. Let’s just say that.”
