One thing ’bout Baltimore-raised Tammy Rivera, she gon’ tell it like it is! On Monday (March 11), the former wife of Waka Flocka popped off in a short social media statement. She was seemingly reacting to social media claims that she and Waka’s new girlfriend, Melanie, were shading each other!
As we previously told y’all, Waka moved on from his ex-marriage to Tammy and debuted his new woman in January. Their daughter Charlie (biologically Tammy’s) seemingly confirmed her mother was also boo’ed up in private. This came after fans had mixed reactions to Waka debuting Melanie.
“Leave my father alone he is happy and my mother is happy, both in separate relationships,” Charlie wrote.
Alleged Shade Between Tammy Rivera & Melanie
But while we know who Waka’s new bae is, Tammy has kept her alleged man private. On Monday, though, she clarified that the last thing she’s doing is checking for Waka Flocka.
According to time stamps, Tammy was the first to share an Instagram Story post that fans interpreted as shade. The post was a video of a woman with the quote, “No one can make me jealous over a seat I had first. You wouldn’t be sitting there if I didn’t get up.” Rivera didn’t add any additional comments.
Hours later, on her Instagram Story, Melanie also posted a meme, but she sauced it up with an additional comment.
“Being washed up and can’t let go of your past is type crazy,” the meme said. Melanie added, “This is the one, cuz it’s giving jealous and bitter.”
Melanie’s post was short-lived and deleted several hours later. Then, on Monday, as fans began to speculate if Waka’s former wife and current GF were beefing, Tammy cleared the air.
“Please leave me alone. I’m happy where I am in life and who I’m with,” she wrote.

Tammy Tells Waka Flocka To Get His “Lil Girl”
But Tammy’s online comments on the matter didn’t end there. The reality TV star stepped into The Neighborhood Talk’s comment section, revealing that she and Waka recently spoke on the phone.
“Man I’m just waking up it’s 9 a.m. over where I’m at. Waka we literally just talked about this last night (your morning)…Waka get her please for I hurt this lil girl’s feelings. Oh btw that post wasn’t even about him nor you but hit dogs holla. You f’king up your seat Shein Tammy.”
Waka’s mother also stepped in, directing a message at her former daughter-in-law, “@charliesangell Why we doing this sh*t on the internet. We don’t do this sh*t.”
When a TNHT follower, @mahaliawithlove, suggested Tammy just “wanted the girl to know they still talk” and suggested it was “very embarrassing” to become a “side chick,” Tammy popped off!
“Sweetie we talked cause our daughter and to be honest we still legally married so we have to talk cause we have business that has to be handled together until them papers are signed! Grown ppl business.”

As mentioned, Tammy Rivera’s relationship is under lock and key chile! But Melanie and Waka Flocka have been showing their romance some social media love since popping out together. Still, it’s unclear how long they’ve been dating. Tammy and Waka split in 2022 after eight years of marriage.
In January, she shared a photo dump of a helicopter ride date with her man! In the caption, she wrote, “Imagine being loved the way you love.”
Days later, she followed up with a post captioned “Crazy about Joaquin” featuring their date night clips!
