Taraji P. Henson will help us heal with the launch of her new Facebook Watch show “Peace of Mind with Taraji.” Mental health is highly important and deserves adequate attention, therefore the creation of this show will be highly influential and educational to viewers.
Taraji has always been an advocate for mental health, and in 2018 she launched the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation. She started the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation to provide resources for those struggling with mental illness. The foundation also offers mental health services to young people in urban schools. Alongside the slightly new foundation, the new Facebook Watch series “Peace of Mind with Taraji” will further explore pertinent mental health topics.
According to Variety “The show is part of Facebook’s broader initiative for World Mental Health Day (Oct. 10), which includes new mental health features and resources. For example, it’s launching https://www.facebook.com/wellbeing_center, a centralized resource center on the Facebook app with tips and information from experts, and new mental well-being guides on Instagram, including one created in collaboration with https://www.instagram.com/jedfoundation/guide/jed-instagrams-pressure-to-be-perfect-guide/18165187537023787/.”

Taraji is looking forward to the beginning of this new show, stating, ““I’ve long been a mental health advocate for the Black community and created the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation in 2018 that has provided resources to thousands of people who are struggling. I‘m looking forward to bringing this new talk series to Facebook Watch, where I can continue to create a conversation around an issue that is near and dear to my heart.”
As of now, there isn’t a set premiere date, however it will be coming soon.“Each episode of the show will focus on a different mental health topics, with multiple content drops planned per week” according to Variety.
