Tekashi 69 Is Reportedly Dropping Bands To Protect His Family From The Blowback Of Pleading Guilty

#Tekashi69 is reportedly dropping some serious dough to protect his family after news broke that he pleaded guilty to nine federal charges and is now cooperating with the feds.

Sources close to Tekashi told @tmz_tv that since his arrest in November, he’s spent thousands of dollars on personal security for his mother because he fears anyone looking for revenge against him will come for her.

Tekashi’s attorney #DawnFlorio said that he “has the means to pay for his family’s private security, so the government expects the money to come out of (his) pocket to protect his closest family members.” She added that the government would step in if, at some point, Tekashi can’t afford the security.

Earlier this week it was reported that Tekashi pleaded guilty to nine federal counts that ranged from conspiracy, firearm offenses, and narcotics trafficking.

Many reports indicated that since Tekashi is submitting a guilty plea, he likely made a deal with authorities and law enforcement officials later confirmed that Tekashi reportedly identified the gunman related to the Chief Keef shooting, so there is no word on the sentence he’ll be facing after this new plea.

Tekashi reportedly pinpointed Kintea McKinzie, also known as Kooda Bas, as the gunman. Two other associates of Tekashi’s gang, identified as Anthony Ellison and Denard Butler, have also been indicted.

McKinzie was allegedly paid $10K to shoot Chief Keef. As you all know, the pair had beef for a few months before Tekashi was arrested.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
