TSR Positive Images: We haven’t seen too much of Tekashi 69 recently, but he’s apparently still out here in these streets! We did see him in the club recently for his boo Jade’s birthday and he was reportedly out spreading the love on Thanksgiving as well.
According to Page Six, Tekashi was out blowing a bag on some food in the Hamptons and reportedly blessed the staff that waited on him with a $2,000 tip. Sources who were at Blu Mar at the time recall him ordering 20 steaks, 10 burgers and 10 pasta dishes to go and he didn’t forget to leave that cash!
“When they saw four SUV’s pull up with the six huge bodyguards, locals lined up on Main Street thinking that President Trump was in town, but it was Tekashi,” one source said.
The owner of the restaurant, Zach Erdem, told Page Six that Tekashi mentioned that things in the music business are not too lucrative at the moment due to the COVID lockdown, but he thought it was his duty to give back to those in need. He also mentioned his staff was super excited to see Tekashi pull up.
“One of my staff members wanted to kiss him,” Erdem said.
Tekashi is not a newbie to this giving back thing, but he did see some hardship with donating following his run in with the feds. As we previously reported, Tekashi declared on social media that he would be donating $200k to the No Kid Hungry Foundation, but the organization respectfully declined his offer.
“We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’ generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation,” Laura Washburn, a spokesperson for the foundation said. “As a child-focused campaign, it is out policy to declined funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”
Nevertheless, it looks like Tekashi is still finding a way to make the most of his coins!
