Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Attorney Reportedly Writes A Letter To The Judge Asking For An Early Release So He Can Avoid Catching The Coronavirus

We all know Tekashi 6ix9ine is scheduled to be released soon. However, it looks like he may be trying to get an early release, and he’s using the coronavirus as a reason.

According to TMZ, his attorney Lance Lazzaro wrote a letter to the judge on Sunday expressing serious concerns for the rapper’s well-being. Lazzaro claims that 6ix9ine suffers from asthma, and him catching the coronavirus would be a serious issue for him.

In the letter, which was obtained by the site, his attorney reportedly claims that 6ix9ine was diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis last year and was hospitalized for treatment.

Lazzaro reportedly claims that 6ix9ine recently had shortness of breath, however, prison officials allegedly wouldn’t let him see a doctor.

As we previously reported, 6ix9ine is expected to be released this summer, early August to be exact.

As you all know, last December he was officially sentenced and received 24 months after cooperating with the prosecutors in his case. He was initially facing 47 years, but he received 13 months of credit for time served.
