Tekashi 69 Asks Judge To Serve His Sentence At Home Because He Says His Safety Is At Risk In Jail

TSR Updatez: Tekashi 69 is reportedly looking for a change of scenery while serving his time because he reportedly doesn’t feel safe behind bars.

Tekashi’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, filed court docs asking a judge to allow him to serve the rest of his 24-month sentence under home confinement or in a community correctional facility, according to TMZ.

His lawyer claims Tekashi’s safety is seriously at risk because of his snitching reputation and he says the private jail that Tekashi is locked up in is currently filled with Blood gang members.

Now, just before Christmas, Tekashi was sentenced to serve 24 months in prison in his racketeering case despite initial reports suggesting that he would be released after cooperating in the investigation.

Because he’s already served 14 months, Tekashi could be out as early as August but it sounds like he’s trying to be home sooner. Tekashi also was sentenced to five years of supervised release.
