Texas (certain parts) is experiencing a MAJOR flood right now. Most recently, Houston was hit with a massive amount of water.
Governor Greg Abbott spoke out about “the ferocity of flash flooding that killed at least three people to a tsunami” as a result of a dam that had collapsed at a state park.
The governor declared “a state of disaster in 24 counties and flew over the area south of Austin to assess the damage caused by tornadoes, heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flooding that forced evacuations and rooftop rescues and left thousands of residents without electricity.” According to Yahoo.
The governor claims this is the biggest flood that this area of Texas has ever seen and reported that many homes were washed off of the map.
