Three Young Children Reportedly Murdered By Mother After Unannounced CPS Visit

The outlet reports that the incident occurred on Friday afternoon in the rural town of Italy, about 40 miles south of Dallas.

A CPS worker, who had suspected Hall was having unsupervised visitations with her kids, arrived to the home unannounced. That’s when Hall reportedly stabbed her children, ages 4, a pair of 5-year-old twins, a 6-year-old, and a 13 months old infant.

Authorities allegedly found bodies of the two twins and her 6-year-old son shortly thereafter.

Her 4-year-old son and 13-month-old daughter were flown via helicopter to a nearby hospital suffering stab wounds, both in unknown condition, the outlet reports.

Officials with CPS told WFAA-TV that the children had been previously placed in the home of a relative prior to Friday’s tragedy.

“We are shocked by this incomprehensible tragedy, and already working with law enforcement to investigate how this happened, and why,” CPS said in a statement obtained by WFAA.
