Teyana Taylor Addresses Online Users Who Believe She Is The Subject In Viral TikTok Video

Teyana Taylor took time to put an end to floating rumors about her private life. Recently, TikTok user Klatsch filmed a reenactment video that told a story about a “singer with TV show and 2 daughters.” The video and submission message didn’t name Teyana. However, the video did include images of her home. Apparently, the story was submitted by an anonymous person. The person claims to be friends with someone who worked as an assistant for the singer.

Teyana’s Response

Teyana responded to the situation by seemingly editing the caption on a previous Instagram post. In the post, Teyana laid in a hospital bed after her team rushed her to the emergency room. At the time, she said her body “just gave out.” She canceled her performance at the ‘Femme It Forward’ concert in Connecticut. Teyana began her response by acknowledging any commentators visiting the photo because of “the YT lady from TikTok.”

“The person who sent in this CAP a** TikTok story is a fool, the person who “re-enacted” this CAP a** is a fool (she better have her court coin ready), but the people who believed the CAP a** story are the biggest fools smh. Y’all allowed a YT girl to pull some sh*t like this during Black History Month,” Teyana said.

The Viral TikTok Video

The anonymous person sent a message to Klatsch, who shares “unconfirmed stories & parodies,” per her TikTok profile bio. Klatsch turned the message into a less-than-a-minute video. Klatsch used imagery that suggested Teyana and husband Iman Shumpert are the subjects in the “hot piping tea,” as described by the anonymous source. The video featured images from Teyana’s 2D home design. Klatsch also included an image of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ stage to reference the “husband’s performance.” As you may already know, Iman and his partner Daniella Karagach won the competition in November.

Klatsch’s video alleges the “singer” became upset watching her husband receive praise on television after cheating on her. Days after the performance, the singer allegedly exhibited “erratic” behavior while consuming “lots of candy.” At this point in the video, the singer entered a bathroom and didn’t respond for a few minutes. After finding the singer on the floor, the team took her to the emergency room.

“28th of November” Us having to post on her Insta explaining why concert had to be canceled and making it look like her body “shut down” cause of exhaustion,” the TikTok video featured in writing.
Teyana’s Response Continued…

Per Teyana, online users have flooded her social media accounts, thus prompting her response. She clarified that “NO ONE” on her team has been hired or fired given that her entire team consists of her still-employed family members. Teyana made it crystal that she doesn’t do drugs and only drinks occasionally. She questioned the credibility of the hospital portion. Lastly, Teyana clarified that she’d quicker kill and bury Iman herself before being pushed to harm herself.

“So LETS BE CLEAR she or whoever “sent this story in” ain’t spilling MY TEA cause ain’t mine to spill. “clout” seems to be the only true “CANDY” involved in this whole situation” Teyana wrote. “Clout chasing a** do anything for views a** bloggers have to stop PREYING on Black positive families that are thriving.”

After The Shade Room posted Teyana’s reponse, she hopped into the comment section with more to say.

“Y’all know I stay out the way and mind my business. But I will ABSOLUTELY defend myself and take out the TIME to address a rumor like this,” Teyana wrote. “Attaching my personal home & likeness in the background of a video that is spreading FALSE & dangerous rumors about my family & I is damn near like saying our names LOUD & CLEAR. So whether I address it or not it’s damned if you do damned if you don’t so f*ck it but don’t ever play with my family.”
