The 2019 NBA Draftees Mistake Destiny’s Child For The Cheetah Girls, Can’t Identify Outkast In ‘Name The 90s’ Game

These late 90s/2000s babies are something else. Social media is roasting a few of the 2019 #NBA draftees after they bombed a little 90s trivia game on ESPN.

In the “Name The 90’s” game, the guys were asked to identify some nostalgic pieces of pop culture from the classic 90s era and let’s just say they dropped the ball. At the beginning, they all said what year they were born, which was either 1999 or 2000.

In the video, one of the players was shown a picture of #DestinysChild’s “Writings on the Wall” album cover and was asked to name that group, misidentifying them as the #CheetahGirls while another player called them the Spice Girls.

They also struggled to identify #Outkast, with one of them saying, “I couldn’t tell y’all who this is,” and another calling #Andre3000 “Andre 2000.” But surprisingly the one thing they were all able to get correct was “Good Burger.”

The guys were asked to identify cherished childhood toys for many 80s and 90s babies including a Super Nintendo and the Easy Bake Oven, which many of them thought was a microwave.

They were asked to also name a fanny pack, which has definitely made a comeback in today’s fashion and one of the players co-signed that, calling the fanny pack “the wave.”

When asked to identify Tia and Tamera Mowry as “Sister, Sister,” they also failed.

Watching them not being able to identify iconic items and musical groups sure made us feel old! Watch the videos below and let us know your thoughts!
