Last week news broke that well-known YouTuber Kevin Samuels passed away at the age of 57. The cause of his passing has not been made clear, however, the 911 call made the day of his passing has now been released.
As previously reported, a woman identified as Ms. Ortencia Alcantara was present at the scene and says she met him the night of May 4th and “came to his apartment, and spent the night with him.” She said the following day Kevin complained of chest pain and he fell on top of her when she tried to assist him.
The report continued to state “she requested the 911 operator to contact the front desk for a defibrillator to keep Mr. Samuels responsive until Grady arrived because she is a nurse.”
On Monday, TMZ released the official audio of the 911 call that was made by Alcantara on the day of the incident. In the audio, the operator asks her for the apartment number which acknowledged that she didn’t know as she frantically tried to help in the situation. After being connected to the ambulance and asked if he’s awake, she says, “No he has an irregular rhythm I can feel it. He’s breathing in and out, but he has an irregular rhythm.”
The audio then cuts to her telling Kevin to breathe as she tells him to think about his mother and daughter. As she continued to demand assistance she could be heard saying, “He’s turning blue…I cannot wait any longer.”
