The Game Denies Negative Feelings About Not Being Included In 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Game took to social media with a clear message over the weekend: he’s not tripping. His message comes a week after the Los Angeles Rams won the 2022 Super Bowl in their home stadium. Last week, The Game reposted content from other Instagram users who expressed that he should’ve performed during the game’s halftime show. Since then, he’s clarified his feelings saying there’s no issue with the lack of invitation.

“Don’t nobody speak for “The Game” except “THE GAME,” he wrote on Instagram. “I ain’t had no conversation with nobody regarding Jay-Z & the Super Bowl he put together. I don’t feel no way about not being included. It was a GREAT SHOW featuring iconic artists. It was a WIN for the culture.”

Initial Comments On Halftime Show

Yet, last week The Game reposted content saying the opposite, in terms of performing.

“FYI, [The Game] should’ve been on stage at the Super Bowl I’ll be the first to say it,” King Trell wrote on his Instagram Story.

Given that he was tagged, The Game was able to (and did) repost the commentary. He left his own words on post writing,”Sh*t brazy fr.” However, The Game didn’t mention Jay-Z in any original or reposted content last week.

Wack 100’s Role In The Rumors

In his latest post, The Game is addressing rumors that stemmed from a conversation Wack 100 allegedly had on the app Clubhouse. According to XXL, Wack 100 allegedly told listeners that The Game exchanged hostile words with Jay-Z.

“That’s why The Game wasn’t on the sh*t [Halftime show],” Wack said. “Because Game told that ni**a [JAY-Z] to suck his dick like 18 hours ago.”

Wack doubled back and clarified his Clubhouse comments, while denying he ever said the words above.

“NEVER SAID THIS I NEVER SAID HE SAID THIS ABOUT THE SUPER BOWL — STOP TWISTING SH*T – SAY WHAT REAL MISS US WITH THE FAKE SH*T,” Wack 100 said on IG. “I ADDRESSED AN OLD SONG OF 10 YEARS – NOBODY NEVER SAID THE GAME MADE THIS.”

The Game’s Final Word

Still, The Game made sure to let the masses know he controls his own narrative. He suggested folks not be fooled by “the internet, blogs, podcasts or anyone speaking on my name that is not me.” The rapper continued on by shifting the focus of his caption to the positivity in his life.

“My life & new album are both amazing & I’m in a great space creatively & artistically,” he wrote in an Instagram caption. “I’m in Miami to help Ye’ finish Donda 2 & support my friend in one of the most pivotal times of his life/career.”

He also shared an indirect message to anyone who decides to speak on him. The Game wrote, “Leave me & my name out of any NEGATIVE conversations unless I have given you a REAL reason to include me.”

The artist closed his message by praising Jay-Z and his culture work.

“Hov continues to break down doors for the culture & I am in full support of anything & anyone who is on the help side of urban greatness,” he wrote.
