It’s almost that time of year again for MTV’s annual Movie & TV Awards. On Tuesday, the official nominees for this year’s award show were announced.
It is no surprise that Marvel’s latest film “Avengers: End Game,” and HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones,” are in the lead for the most nominations as they have earned four apiece, along with the Ruth Bader Ginsburg documentary “RBG.”
However, other notable nominees include Lupita Nyong’o for her role in the film “Us,” Amandla Stenberg for her role in the film, “The Hate U Give,” John David Washington for “BlacKkKlansman,” and so many others.
There are also three new categories that will be introduced for this year’s award show. Those categories are Reality Royalty, Most Meme-able Moment, and Best Real-Life Hero.
The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards go down on June 17th.
