Just in case you’re just joining us, the #badblood between #TaylorSwift and #KatyPerry is still in effect. It appears as though Katy had taken shots at the #BlankSpace singer with her song #SwishSwish, but got paid dust…until now. Katy’s #Witness album is dropping at midnight and a 24-hour countdown kicked off yesterday, but little did she and her #KatyCats know that Taylor had a countdown of her own.
Beginning at midnight tonight, all of her songs will go back to all streaming services after she snatched them down from Spotify three years ago. Taylor felt that the music industry was becoming a “grand experiment” and was not willing to lose any coin while execs figured out how to pay artists in respects to music streaming. We don’t blame you, girl!
The reason why Taylor and her team decided to add her music back to these sites was to celebrate #1989 selling over 10 million copies worldwide.
