Charly “Max B” Wingate aka the Wave God aka Biggavelli, was sentenced to 75 years in prison back in 2009.
He was found guilty of being involved in a robery that resulted in a death. After the rejection of his appeal for a retrial in 2012, he continued to put out multiple petitions via the White House petition website.
In the midst of fighting his legal battles he also managed to find time to host his buddy French Montana’s mixtape!
According to his petition, he believes he was sentenced without any convincing evidence presented by the state. 100,000 signatures are needed by March 26th in order to even get noticed by the White House before an official response is sent out. As of now he has 98 signatures.
Max B garnered a lot of attention recently after Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa went at it over Kanye changing his album title from “Swish” to “Waves.” As we know he eventually went with “The Life of Pablo.”
