This Teacher Lets His Students Participate In ‘Freestyle Fridays’ If They Get 80% Or More On Their Weekly Assessment

Listen!! Teachers who love and are passionate about their craft and set a good example for their deserve nice things!!

A 2nd grade teacher from Atlanta, Mr. Rigaud, has such a fun way of celebrating his students’ wins. We all know kids are into rap music and sometimes know how to recite lyrics better than their homework. Mr. Rigaud allows his students to express their creativity through “Freestyle Fridays” if they earn 80% or more on their weekly assessment.

“I’m so proud of them,” he tells us about the kids in the video as they all scored 80% or higher after not meeting their reading goals for two weeks. As we can see in the video, the students are HYPE and excited to spit their bars!! Someone get number 3 a record deal though ’cause sheeeesh!!
