Three teenage girls in Houston, Texas, have been arrested for allegedly attempting to stab their mom after she turned off their Wi-Fi.

According to USA Today, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez asserted that the incident occurred on Sunday, March 23. Deputies reportedly responded to a home and found a woman who alleged she had been assaulted by her daughters. Per the outlet, the children’s ages are 14, 15, and 16.
Furthermore, the outlet notes that the girls allegedly grabbed kitchen knives and chased their mom throughout the house and into the street while trying to stab her. Per the sheriff, the woman was allegedly “struck with a brick” amid the ordeal. Additionally, the girls’ grandmother was also present during the incident and reportedly got “knocked over” trying to defend the mother.
Per the outlet, neither the grandmother nor mother were “seriously injured.”

According to the outlet, the girls were subsequently arrested and charged with “aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.” Furthermore, the sheriff reportedly told the press that the trio have been booked into Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
