Tiffany Haddish & Jason Lee Speak After Folks Thought They Welcomed A Baby Boy Together
On Tuesday, August 19, Jimmy Kimmel Live published footage via YouTube of Haddish appearing as a guest host during the show’s recent airing. About two minutes into the footage, Haddish decided to address a recent “personal matter.” Furthermore, she explained that weeks ago, she shared a post on Instagram which made people “go a little crazy.”
“Now, it was a picture of me and my friend Jason Lee posing with a baby, and the caption [said]: ‘cats out the bag.’ Now, for some reason, people saw this and thought I had a baby… Even my own relatives was asking if I had a secret baby…”
As the clip continued, Haddish explained that Lee was in the audience to help her “clear” the matter up. Furthermore, he explained that the “world” went crazy over the photo. Haddish agreed and ultimately revealed that she decided to make her and Lee the baby’s godparents.
“So just to be clear, I did not have a baby, but I am open to it,” Haddish ultimately stated.

Here’s Why Some Folks Thought Tiffany Haddish & Jason Lee Welcomed A Baby Boy Together
As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this month, Haddish and Lee took to Instagram to share a joint photo that showed them standing side by side with their arms around each other as Haddish held a baby boy. To note, in 2023, the pair made headlines for “seriously” discussing the possibility of having a child through non-traditional means.
Subsequently, the photo left some social media users believing they welcomed a child.
“The baby looks like both of them. That’s they baby 🤷🏽♀️” one social media user wrote in TSR’s comment section.
Despite speculation, though, it was ultimately revealed that the baby boy is the grandson of Lee’s cousin, Natasha Brown.
