As if Kanye and the Kardashians could care any less, Tim Gunn, from Project Runway had a whole mouthful to say about the mini empire. We’re talking, a whole bunch of tea to swallow that pill, honey!
So apparently Tim sat down with the Huff Post and wasted no time saying how he REALLY feels about Kanye and the Kardashian crew.
For one, he caught attention when he went in on Kanye’s latest glory child, his fashion collection. According to Tim, it’s “basic.”
Basic? Kanye’s like #HowSway?!
So anyways, he didn’t feel the need to stop there, oh he kept it going:
“I think they’re a bunch of dumb clothes,” he said. “Just basic pieces… He won’t [like that comment], but let me tell you, the whole Kardashian clan doesn’t like me, so no surprise there.”
Keep the tea spillin’, Tim!
“There are large issues [with the Kardashians] for me, such as why? Why!” He said. “But when it comes to fashion I say to people all the time, if you want guidance in fashion, just consider this: if a Kardashian is wearing it, don’t… I think it’s vulgar… Given the amount of public exposure that the Kardashians have to potentially be sending the message to people that you too can dress like this, no!”
Well damn!!
Kanye wasn’t his only victim, Tim voiced his dislike for Kendall Jenner, who, we might add has inked deals with Vogue, Calvin Klein, AND Estée Lauder.
“I think absolutely nothing [of her] to be perfectly honest,” he said. “And I’m assuming there’s a huge, perhaps million dollars a month, publicity wagon that is pulling these girls along and creating these lives for them. I’m distrustful of it and I find it all distasteful…[But] I shouldn’t say that she doesn’t [have “it”],” he concedes. “I don’t know her — she may be a perfectly lovely young woman. I just feel that she’s tainted by the Kardashian aura of yuck!”
Let us tell yall how his war path didn’t even stop there!
He claims that he “hated” the latest season of Project Runway.
“I’m telling you — and I haven’t said this very much — I hated season 14…I hated it. I felt that other than a couple of designers, they weren’t working up to their potential. The whole thing was lackluster.”
Well, Mister Dunn, it’s nice to know that you have no filter when it comes to this fashion life!
