Todd Chrisley Reacts To Savannah Expecting Baby With 56-Year-Old Jason Galanis
According to USA Today, Todd Chrisley appeared as a recent guest on Bunnie Xo’s ‘Dumb Blonde’ Podcast. In a clip shared by the show on Instagram, Chrisley addressed critics who highlighted that Savannah was “having a child out of wedlock.”
“Is she?” Todd asked the camera. “Is she having a child out of wedlock? Um, you know, at the end of the day, Savannah’s story is her story to tell… Do we know everything? Yes, we’re her parents. Do we celebrate her and her announcement today? Yes, we do. I’m tickled to death. I can hardly wait for my grandbaby.”

Todd went on to say that he’s “thrilled,” but wanted to address “the elephant in the room.” From there, he joked that Savannah couldn’t understand younger men. Then, went on to confirm that Jason Galanis is “20 years older” than Savannah.
“That’s not something that I embraced,” he said. “I mean, to the point that I had a choice to make. It was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter. And nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter.”

Reports Allege Savannah Chrisley & Jason Galanis Tied The Knot In July
On Thursday, October 29, PEOPLE was the first to report that Savannah Chrisley and Jason Galanis secretly tied the knot on July 14. This reportedly took place in a ceremony at Cayman Islands Baptist Church. Furthermore, the pair reportedly made their union “after one year of dating and just two days before Galanis’ birthday.”
Per the outlet, Savannah reportedly revealed that she and Galanis became engaged in December 2025 — just five months into them dating. She reportedly made the revelation on her podcast, ‘Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley.’
“Our relationship as a whole has been absolutely amazing. It has been the dream relationship that any woman could hope to be in. There hasn’t been drama and chaos and dysfunction. There has been absolutely none of that,” she reportedly said on the podcast.
Todd Chrisley’s Reaction Came After She Shared Baby & Engagement Announcement
As The Shade Room previously reported, Savannah Chrisley shared a reel earlier this week that seemingly announced her pregnancy and engagement. The clip featured ultrasound photos and clips of her standing beside a man. The man’s face was kept from the camera’s view.
And as reactions rolled in, she took to her Instagram Story to address the “controversy.”
“You are not a headline. You are not a controversy. You are not defined by anyone’s past, anyone’s mistakes, or anyone else’s opinions. You are innocent, deeply loved, and the greatest blessing God could have ever entrusted your daddy and I with. No amount of noise in this world will ever overshadow the joy of being your mama. You are my answered prayer. And I will never apologize for celebrating you,” she wrote at the time.
Amid it all, it was revealed that the man pictured with her was 56-year-old Jason Galanis, who was sentenced to over 14 years in prison after allegedly defrauding “Native American tribal entity and pension fund investors” out of tens of millions of dollars. The New York Post reports that President Donald Trump reportedly commuted his prison sentence in 2025.
Per TMZ, Galanis and Todd Chrisley were housed in the same prison during their respective time behind bars. Per PEOPLE, Savannah and Galanis reportedly plan to hold a larger wedding event in May 2027. However, Page Six reports that Galanis’ brother, Derek, is now speaking out, calling his brother’s relationship with the 29-year-old his “biggest con yet.”
“This girl’s in for a rocky ride. He’s not a changed man; he’s the same dude he always was,” Derek Galanis reportedly added.
