Tory Lanez Handcuffed In Court For Violating Personal Contact Order With Tweets Aimed At Megan Thee Stallion

Tory Lanez finally got his day in court on Tuesday and things quickly went left after Judge David Herriford determined the artist violated the order of protection that was placed against him in the Megan Thee Stallion assault case.

About an hour after Tory showed up at his hearing, Nancy Dillon, who was present in the courtroom, reported that he was handcuffed and remanded to custody.

“Tory Lanez was handcuffed in court and remanded to custody until he posts bail of $350,000 in Megan Thee Stallion felony assault case,” Dillon wrote. “Judge found him in violation of discover protective order and personal contact order.”

Dillon clarified her initial tweet, noting that Tory’s recent tweets aimed at Megan were presented to Judge Herriford as evidence.

“Judge David Herriford heard nearly an hour of argument about Lanez’s tweets and said ‘some seem to be clear messages’ to Megan. He added new condition to Lanez’s release that he’s ‘not to mention the complaining witness in this case in any social media.'”

As we previously reported, Tory, Megan, Pardi and DJ Akademiks were involved in a messy back and forth on social media just a few weeks back. Megan called Akademiks out for alleging that Tory’s DNA was not found on the weapon used to assault Megan, and things spiraled out of control from there.

Tory even went as far as to insinuate that he slept with Megan and her ex-bestie Kelsey.

Tory Lanez has since posted bail and his trial date is set for September 14th.
